Sandusky Tennis Statebound

The Sandusky Tennis Team has a lot to be proud of – The Michigan High School Tennis Coaches Association presented the Sandusky High School Boys Tennis Team with the All Academic Team Award.
The award is in recognition of All State Academic Achievement in Division IV.
Nancy Brissett, All-Academic Chairperson said, “We are pleased to honor your student athletes for their many hours of work and dedication in maintaining high academic achievement while being part of a competitive athletic team. With this achievement, these student athletes have brought honor to themselves, their school, and their community.”
The team will also be heading to states, after advancing from regional play – they needed 18 points to qualify, which they got. They had the most overall flight winners – 3, Jonathan Wentzel at 1S, Caleb Minard/Carson Shampo at 1D, and Gabe Drabant/Christian Shuart at 2D.
On October 4, the Sandusky tennis team defeated Marysville, 7-1
