Elsie Marie Campbell

MARLETTE – Elsie Marie Campbell, age 81, of Marlette, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Marlette United Hospice Residence in Marlette, Michigan.
She was born April 5, 1933 in Brown City, daughter to the late Albert and Lillian (Kloc) Mott.
She graduated from Brown City High School in 1951.
She married RJ Campbell September 29, 1951 in Burnside Township. He preceded her in death August 8, 2004.
Elsie worked at the Marlette Community Hospital as a X-Ray Aid for 25 years and also worked in the kitchen for Marlette Community Schools for several years. Elsie enjoyed baking, sewing, making wedding cakes, cooking and most of all, spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by John and Karen Campbell (son) of Marlette, Christine and Michael Cargill (daughter) of Marlette, Tom and Lori Campbell (son) of Imlay City, Joanne and Rick Thompson (daughter) of Marlette, Mike and Alaina Campbell (son) of Lake Orion; Leonard Mott (brother) of Leonard; Betty Cummings (sister) of Walled Lake, Ann Ragatz (sister) of Florida, Marge and Carl Wangler (sister) of Goodrich, Barb and Jerry Nagy (sister) of Imlay City, Cathy Stoin (sister) of Davison; grandchildren, Lisa and Andy Heidrich, Eric and Angela Campbell, Matthew Campbell, Jacob Cargill, Nick and Melissa Campbell, Alissa Campbell, Kayla and Garrett Lange, Jenna Thompson, Carissa Campbell, Caleb Campbell; and great-grandchildren, Emma, Sophia, Kassidy, Jordyn and Grayson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Lillian Mott, husband, RJ; brother, Ed Mott and infant brother, Gerry Mott; and granddaughter, Kiema Campbell.
Funeral Mass was held Monday, April 6, 2015 at in the Holy Family Parish, St. Elizabeth Church, with Fr. Donald Epperbrock officiating.
Burial followed the funeral mass in the St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Marlette, Michigan.
Memorials may be donated to the United Hospice Residence.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette and Monday in the Holy Family Parish St. Elizabeth Church in Marlette.
A prayer service was held on Saturday at the funeral chapel.
