Roberta Jean Hartzman

BROWN CITY – Roberta Jean Hartzman,  66, of Brown City, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Marlette Hospice Residence in Marlette, Michigan.   

She was born August 13, 1948 in Sandusky, Michigan, the daughter of the late Gerald and Marion (Brown) Craven.

She was a 1966 graduate of Rochester High School, and she earned her LPN from St. Clair Communty College in 1978. Roberta married Carl Hartzman on July 21, 1967 in Marlette. She was a member of the Thumb area home church group.

   She is survived by her husband, Carl; Kenneth and Megan Hartzman (son) of East Pointe, Timothy Hartzman (son) of Marlette, Kevin Hartzman (son) of Marlette; Marilynn Shipp (sister) of Georgia, Deborah and David Cone (sister) of Oregon; Gerald Craven (brother) of Michigan, Gary and Anita Craven (brother) of Snover; 11 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., at Marsh Funeral Chapel, Marlette.

Rev. Gary Butterfield officiated. 

Cremation followed services at the May Memorial Crematory in Port Huron.
