Lawnchair Music Series Announced

Sandusky Arts Council proudly announces the schedule of performers for the 20224 Lawnchair Music Series, which debuts on Friday, June 28. All the concerts begin at 7:00 p.m. on the courthouse lawn, on the stage of the gazebo. According to Kevin Kohn, President, “even with all the construction on M46, we are planning on keeping this year’s shows at the gazebo. Although we lose the parking on Sanilac Road, with the accessibility and capacity of the courthouse parking lot, we don’t anticipate the need to relocate our concerts.” That being said, in the event we need are unable to use the Gazebo, we have made alternative arrangements to use the pavilion at Diamond Trail. If we must move a show, we will announce it on the radio and social media, and redirect with signage.

“All of our concerts are presented free of charge to the public, but the Lawnchair Series is produced with money donated by our business partners during our annual fundraising blitz, which we recently started. Without the support of our business community, we would not be able to bring quality entertainment to our stage every year” according to founding member of Sandusky Arts Council and current treasurer, Kim Zander. Throughout the series, we make sure to acknowledge those businesses wo support the Lawnchair Music Series. Please make sure to patronize our sponsors and let them know you appreciate their support of local community organizations.
