Eagle Boys Swept by Cardinals

The Deckerville Eagles hosted Kingston on Thursday, May 18, taking two losses, 1-11 and 6-12.
Derek Osborne pitched the first 3 innings for the Eagles, striking out 3, walking 6. Parker Merriman pitched the final inning, striking out 3.
Kingston scored 7 runs in the first inning, 3 in the second, and 1 in the third. The Eagles got their lone run in the first inning with Chayse Lamont bringing it in. Parker Merriman had 1 hit in the game, and Kris Kosal an rbi.
Game two was pitched by Ian Flanagan, pitching 4 innings, striking out 6, walking 5. Parker Merriman finished the final inning, striking out 1.
The Eagles scored 1 in the fifth, and 2 in the sixth. The Cardinals scored 2 in the first, 5 in the second, 1 in the fourth and 4 in the fifth.
