The Marlette Regional Hospital (MRH) Foundation’s golf committee is pleased to announce their fourteenth annual Driving for Health Golf Scramble scheduled to take place on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at the Lapeer Country Club.
The 2022 event promises to be another phenomenal event for our golfers and sponsors. It includes a great day of golf on a beautifully groomed course, fun and exciting contests/games, delicious food, and extraordinary sponsorship opportunities. Nearly 200 golfers, volunteers, and sponsors participate in this annual scramble, so we recommend securing your sponsorship and team early!
This year’s event proceeds will benefit the Community Center project at The Heartlands building complex in Marlette, scheduled to open summer of 2022. This needed area resource is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2022 and will be available for public use by appointment. This 4,596 square foot building will offer a warm and friendly country style design and will include: large meeting/dining room area seating up to 100 people, kitchenette, media room, gym/exercise room, bathrooms, exam/office rooms, and an outside dining area. (indicate areas supported) It will bring family, friends, and community together to build relationships, and promote healthy living and productive lifestyles.
