OPRA Allows for New Development

ARG Holdings LLC has filed a written request with the City of Sandusky requesting the establishment of the Obsolete Property Rehabilitation Act District (OPRA) on its property (formerly the Gorringe Dental Office).
OPRA encourages the development of rundown, obsolete buildings with grant money. ARG Holdings LLC’s grant money will be used to develop a building with a 5,000 square feet first floor. The main floor will consist of a sports medicine and therapy clinic, along with four other office spaces for rent.
It is hoped that the second story will be comprised of five or six one bedroom, residential rehabilitation units.
The entire project could take up to two years of construction.
The $500,000 investment is sure to be one more improvement of the City of Sandusky.
