Sanilac Rocks Glow Hunt

Want something to do with your kids that is sure to be a lot of fun? If so, mark your calendar for Saturday, April 28, at 8:00 p.m. Sanilac Rocks is having its first ever Glow Hunt at the Port Sanilac Historical Museum. It will include face painting before the hunt starts, lots of glow bracelets and necklaces given out and black light flashlights to use for the hunt. The cost is FREE and if kids sign up by messaging Kristie Baer before the end of the first week of April they are guaranteed the glow jewelry and flashlight.
The group is still looking for donations to cover the cost of the flashlights and batteries at this point, and the link to donate can be found on the Sanilac rocks page.
The rest of the supplies have been covered. Flashlights will be saved for future glow events so these lights are a one time thing. If any businesses wish to paint any glowing rocks to have hidden, please message Kristie Baer on facebook or if any businesses want to put out “coupon rocks”, that can be done also. If anyone is interested in helping with the decorating or hiding of rocks or painting faces, also contact Kristie Baer.
Sanilac Rocks has been active for almost a whole year now. The group is hoping that the rocks found will be rehidden and that will start off our 2018 warm season. The group will have over 500 rocks to be found at the hunt.
The glow hunt is on Facebook on the Sanilac Rocks facebook page under the “events” tab.
