Red Raider Review 11-18-15

Unfortunately in today’s reality, lack of sufficient financing is an inconvenience weighing on the minds of much of the school’s administration. In attempts to alleviate the pressure induced by this fiscal burden, students at Marlette have organized multiple fundraisers.
Band members in the fifth through twelfth grades, are once again retailing everyone’s guilty pleasure; chocolate! For a single dollar, buyers may choose from a variety of five mouth-watering cocoa concoctions. All proceeds earned by this fundraiser will go towards purchasing new concert uniforms, new music stands, and other items vital in the musical prosperity of the
Also joining the fundraising bandwagon are the wrestling and cheerleading teams. Each team member is equipped with catalogs filled cover to cover with items boasting Red Raider pride. Headbands to running tights, to bucket hats can be purchased at reasonable prices. Product quality is ensured because these items are manufactured by the popular brands including Under Armour, Adidas, and Nike.
Similarly, the class of 2018 is also selling the well-known storage solution brand, Tupperware. Both the Tupperware and the spirit gear orders will be delivered in time for holiday gift giving.
The support that the community has displayed in past school events has inspired our students to give back. A joint coat drive, run by the National Honor Society and Business Professionals of America, will take place throughout the month. Donations of new and gently-used coats will be distributed to those in need. All contributions may be dropped off in the high school office.
Communal assistance is essential in all program success. Marlette High School is fortunate enough to have a great township, cheering it along through all endeavors.
