Larry James Merrill

CROSWELL – Larry James Merrill,  71, of Croswell, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015 at his home in Croswell, Michigan.

He was born August 30, 1943 in Croswell, Michigan, the son of Roscoe and Martha (Wedge) Merrill.

He was a lifelong area resident, farmer and 1961 graduate of Croswell High School.

Larry married his high school sweetheart, Bonnie Lentz on August 15, 1964.  She preceded him in death on October 12, 2013.

He is survived by his mother, Martha Merrill of Croswell; Crystal and Chad Partaka (daughter) of Croswell, Tracy and Rob Navarro (daughter) of Croswell; Judy Ann and John Sprowl (sister) of Croswell; grandchildren, Brandon and Amanda Macklem, Chelsie Zielinski, Erin Navarro, and Gracie Navarro; niece, Jodi and Jeff Shinn; and nephew, John and Ivy Sprowl.

He was also preceded in death by his father, Roscoe Merrill.

Cremation has taken place at the May Memorial Crematory in Port Huron.

Private services will be held at a later date.
